Axel Uhl 8e8c6bc8e1 bug5611: acknowledgement and threading architecture for explicit acks in place; re-connect design needs to be adjusted accordingly; 
the new Channel starts delivery tags at 0; what does this mean for queued messages? Are they delivered through this channel at all?
