script to "garbage-collect" all JAR files that are built by maven
...
Afterward you'll at least have to run the update script. But beware:
update will again copy all files from the maven repository.
You may consider cleaning the maven repository for the respective
instance, then do a "mvn deploy" and only then call update again.
