set default character encoding to cp1252 because only this way we receive the TracTrac competitor names

correctly. In the long run, we should strive for getting a JAR file from TracTrac which allows us to
configure the encoding properly; or even better, they should fix their property in KeyValue.setup to
whatever their server sends.

script to "garbage-collect" all JAR files that are built by maven
...
Afterward you'll at least have to run the update script. But beware:
update will again copy all files from the maven repository.
You may consider cleaning the maven repository for the respective
instance, then do a "mvn deploy" and only then call update again.
