Axel Uhl b9ee183c5e avoid client-side NPE in case boat for competitor cannot be resolved; 
this is a corner case of a league set-up when Competitor and
CompetitorWithBoat get confused, e.g., because a race is loaded with
that competitor and into a regatta that has canBoatsChange==false; then,
the competitors may vary slightly (e.g., just a missing short name will
cause them not to be equal), and hence the boat look-up will fail
