Axel Uhl c3b2a13484 fix NPE that can occur if the recurring "progress hops" lead to the termination of a tracked before the clientParamsPHP poller variable is initialized;

the stop method access the poller and tries to cancel it; note that this is an interesting case of a final variable
"changing" its value after having "escaped" from the constructor to another thread
